This has to be one of my favorite Christmas songs of all time. My junior year of High School I was an exchange student in
Austria. During the fall, the street vendors would sell freshly roasted chestnuts for about a dollar for a newspaper cone full,
and it was so nice to eat the warm chestnuts on a nippy fall day. They were so yummy. Now, every time I hear this song, I feel
a tinge of nostalgia for Graz and the trip that started me moving around the world in the first place. Sigh.
Now, thanks to the great Christmas gift from my mother-in-law that she let me open early, I can play it whenever I want.
Thanks, Flo!
