We got an advent calendar that depicts a nativity scene. Audrey helps us do it in her own special way. Every day, whatever
comes out of the little pocket, be it a camel, angel, or wise man, first has to eat some hay in the manger before it goes to its
place in the scene. Today, however, I asked if I could put the wise man standing up by the camels. "No, in the manger," came
the reply. OK, then I will stand him up in the manger. "No, sleeping." Hence, instead of baby Jesus, we have one of the wise
men sleeping in the manger. I don't know what she'll do tomorrow when we have to get out wise man #2...
