I got to go to Germany today! Spass! I attended a conference in Stuttgart. (It's a tough job, I know, but somebody's got to do it...)
It was a lot of fun. The conference was interesting, the evenings were fun, and I had a good time. My hotel was actually in a suburb
of Stuttgart, and so the first night, I decided to take a look around there. Not too much interesting, all though I found a restaurant
named after me (the rest of the word means spoon, and Koch does mean Cook), and I had an Apfelsaftgesprizt which is one of my
favorite drinks (seen behind the self portrait of me in the centerpiece of the restaurant that I took while I was waiting for my food).
The picture with all the fluorescent lights is in the Stockholm Airport. It was kind of funky, and there were all these "rain forest"
noises piped in over the loudspeakers. I didn't quite get it.
