I walked into the living room this morning, and saw the kids on the sofa. Audrey proudly told me, "We're fruit bats!" I thought it was
so funny! This afternoon we played in the snow a bit, and this evening we lit the ice lantern I made. A friend at work tipped me off
that you can partially freeze a bucket of water, taking care to poke a hole in the ice occasionally. Since water freezes from the
outside in, eventually you'll have a shell of ice. Dump out the water from the middle, and then you can stick a candle in it for a really
cool ice lantern thingie. I think that sometime we may made a few of them to have outside for a party or something.
